Simple to cook and easy to digest, this organic kitchari is made from the highest quality aged basmati rice and split mung dal. A staple of South East Asian cuisine.

How to make: It is cooked like oatmeal along with salt and Indian spices. Kitchari is easy to digest and is traditionally consumed as a nourishing comfort food the way that people in the West would consume chicken noodle soup. This organic kitchari can also be used as a monodiet food; many people can use these packs for a kitchari cleanse, whereas some people simply enjoy it for its delicious, hearty taste!

Depending on your toppings, it can suit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Fresh vegetables like potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, and peas can also be added to khichadi during cooking. Kitchari is often served with ghee (clarified butter), Indian pickles, and other condiments and is considered a complete meal, especially for vegetarians. Commonly used spices include:
